When your dreams have died.

Sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle of life. Going here and there, doing everything under the sun, and never just stopping to think. Over time, I’ve realized in life that things don’t always happen how we want them to. And when things don’t happen our way it’s SUPER easy to become discouraged, disappointed, and frustrated. Usually this results in throwing our hands in the air and giving up! Believe me, there have been times when I have been tempted to do just that!

Recently I heard a sermon from one of my all time favorite preachers, Pastor Dan Betzer. He mentioned the story of Ruth and how they had nothing. It would’ve been easy for Ruth to give up, but instead she remembered the God of her ancestors, the one who provides, helps, heals, restores…..and with that in mind, she went out to the field to collect her supper.

Sometimes, we see ourselves in a situation that looks hopeless, but GOD looks down and has a WHOLE different perspective on all of our situations. Naomi looked around and saw hopelessness, Ruth looked around and saw hope, God looked at both Naomi & Ruth and saw a King.

Kids Camp

Last year we were able to do a kids camp in a village in the Eastern province. Over 100 children came, and all the sunday school teachers from the surrounding villages and towns also came. That weekend we established our core “Sunday School” team in the East. Over a year has gone by since then and that team has been establishing and growing more Sunday Schools all over the Eastern Province of Zambia. Here’s a video of the last kid’s camp we did.
